# Thread

> Thread is a monthly subscription that ships a personalized activity box to a parent or grandparent — built from the family's photos, hometown, recipes, and memories. The adult child sets it up once; the recipient gets a different physical box each month and never has to use an app.

## What's in each box

Every box contains six personalized pieces:

- A custom centerpiece project (rotating monthly): a personalized hometown crossword, a family photo puzzle, a heritage recipe card set, a memory prompt deck, etc.
- An activity kit: knitting, crochet, embroidery, coloring, diamond painting, sudoku, depending on the month.
- A few small pieces: pre-stamped postcards addressed to grandkids, a printed family update, a seasonal almanac.
- One keepsake item that slides into a binder. At month 12, that binder comes back as a hardcover Thread Book.

## How Thread is personalized

At setup, the buyer provides:
- The recipient's first name and age
- Where they grew up
- Family member names
- A handful of interests
- Optional photo library access (Apple Photos or Google Photos)

Each month's box is built from these inputs. The crossword has clues about her hometown. The puzzle is her own family photo. Recipe cards are dishes she'd recognize.

- Annual plan: $590/year, free shipping, includes hardcover Thread Book at month 12 (works out to two months free)

## Who Thread is for

Adult children, 35-55, who don't live near their parent and want to send something personal and recurring — instead of one-off flowers or generic gifts. Most recipients are parents or grandparents in their 70s or 80s who live alone or semi-alone.

## The guarantee

If the first box doesn't land, full refund within 30 days. The recipient keeps the box. No returns, no paperwork.
